Craigrick Moderates Fireside Chat to Honor 5 American Airline Trailblazers

"What a way to close out Black History Month! I was honored to moderate a Fireside Chat sponsored by the Washington, DC American Airlines Black Professional Network. The event was held to honor five American Airlines trailblazers who have all worked their entire careers at Ronald Reagan National Airport DCA. They are the top five in seniority at the station and have a combined total of almost 250 years of seniority. Theses outstanding employees shared stories of their aviation journey which started in the 70’s during a time when there was very little diversity in aviation. They discussed how hard-work, perseverance and a love for the industry has been the secret of their longevity.

The event ended with each honoree being presented with an award and authentic autographed print of a photograph which is from a collection displayed in the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture to commemorate the Million Man March. The event was a huge success!"
